Everyday, hundreds of thousands of animals are tortured and killed so that you can eat them or wear their fur. How would you feel if you knew the only reason you were living was for people to eat or wear you? Technically, humans are animals, so eating meat is a form of cannibalism. It is true that a long time ago we had no choice but to eat meat in order to survive. But in this day and age, there are no excuses.

This is a site that will hopefully motivate you to become a vegan or vegetarian. The difference between a vegan and a vegetarian is: a vegetarian eats absolutely NO MEAT AT ALL. Some people claim to be vegetarians but still eat chicken and/or fish. This does not make you a vegetarian. As you will find in this site, chickens are animals. A vegan is a person who eats NO MEAT OR DAIRY PRODUCTS.  This includes eggs, milk, and cheese. There are many substitutes that you can use to replace things that you feel you just can't give up, such as ice cream and milk.

Vegetarians and Vegans

Becoming a vegan or vegetarian is a lot easier then you may think. There are so many alternatives to eating dead animals that it makes you wonder why people still insist on doing it.
